Outspoken Christian NBA star Stephen Curry creates a fury “Storm” on the court with unparalleled play, and now everyone else can partake on this chaos with his new sneaker.
The Under Armour Curry Two “Storm” Edition sneaker will be released to retailers on January 29 for $130.
Curry just doesn’t wear Under Armour sneakers; he also wears the armor of God on his body every time he suits up to play ball with the best players in the world. Previous editions of his sneakers featured Bible verse on the insoles of the shoe.
Under Armour released the Curry One, which featured the tagline "Charged By Belief" and 4:13 on the tongue, a nod to Philippians 4:13, "I can do all things through him who strengthens me.”
The Curry Two released in the Fall of 2015, and the slogan was "Iron Sharpens Iron.” Proverbs 27:17 reads, "Iron sharpens iron, and one man sharpens another."
During the summer, Lecrae invited Curry to perform with him on stage one night while performing in Oakland. Curry didn’t show off his rap skills but instead just danced alongside Lecrae using some of his famous footwork he’s known for on the court.
